I was approached this weekend at the Cherokee Rod Run in North Carolina by a gentleman from California who was checking destinations off his bucket list and he and his wife fell in love with Brenda's wagon and he went on to tell us he had recently purchased one but it was missing one of the headlight doors, I told him I believe I had a extra one in the barn and then he mentioned his wagon was a '53, This is something I should know after owning a couple of '54 Ford over the years, but I don't.

I explained that the 52/53 shared the same fenders but the '54 was a little different and that I was unsure if the headlight doors are the same for all three years, I have him covered if the '54 is the same. HRP

The 1949-59 Ford Parts Manual would probably show that by part number and illustration.

The 54 fenders and headlight doors were slightly raised and had a peak similar to the 55. The whole 54 front clip will interchange with the 52-53, but the individual components will not.

I have a spare headlight door inner chrome piece P/N 13061 that measures 1.44 so it appears it is for 52-53. Gladly send it to anyone in need. Just pay shipping. If interested, email me at jimpeg1@hotmail.com Also have all windshield and back window chrome pieces from my 54 for sale..... Jim P1170039.JPG

Anyone know of a supplier for the springs that hold those inner chrome pieces to the headlight door? I haven't been able to find any. What have the rest of you done to secure these rings.
    Thanks.
They are numbered 13067 and 13058 in the above illustration page.

Thanks for the information, I thought there may be some difference in the headlight doors and the illustration proves it, again thanks. HRP

Will do. Ordered through e-bay for the '54. Will report back when they arrive and are installed.
