Hot Rods 1937-40 Chevy/GMC Pickup Thread

Anyone have any cool 37-40 GM pickups? They don't seem to be as popular as some of the other body styles. Would love to see some pics and details. Thanks!

 

i am building this 39 right now. i have a 40 that is in my avatar. i also have a thread on identifying 39-46 trucks

 

Mine’s in pieces right now - a 30 A got in the way - @nunattax ye ol Irish Nut has a nice one and others as well - I would like to see some pics too - hopefully I’ll get the A on the road next year and then get on me 38 twuck

I am working on a '40 for a customer.

I just painstakingly recovered the front body parts from being in a fire and building collapse.

 

A GMC & a Chev I saved from the crusher many years ago. Both are in recovery today.

 

Saved this one today, have a box for it and my buddy scott has a stock pickup frame and running gear

 

I don't know who's truck this is, but I like it

 

Working on a 40... hope to be on the road by next spring.
