Chrome foil.its available on line or at most well stocked hobby shops. It's not easy to with but results are great.
Thanks Deuces, it's been too quiet around here. Here's another (of many) I'm working on, got for $1 with crappy paint. After sanding for a respray, I'm kinda liking the patina look.
Here's something wacky I'm working on. It's a topless 1/25 AMT '49 Ford sectioned 3", shortened, widened in back and pie-cut to narrow it at the cowl. The hood and front fenders are removed and replaced with a '36 Ford hood and '39 Ford grille. Powertrain is a Toronado FWD in the trunk...and it's a three-wheeler. I'm building it as if it was a 1:1 made in late 1965 using a wrecked '66 Toronado. I haven't decided on what do for an interior -- single-seat race car or two-person custom or.... What do you think?
