Technical Ford speedo Identification

    Good evening chaps

    I've had a google around and got nothing that matches what I have its a Ford Speedo
    has VDO in small letters and on the back side punched in it has "w1.0 2.50" (or possible 2.5U)

    here's some pictures

    any help will be very appreciated

  2. Pretty sure thats a 1950s German Ford Taunus speedo in KPH.

    After 1932 all the UK/EU fords got small compared to the US one's, not many around due to our wet weather everything rusts away. But its a cool looking car.

    That's excellent! VDO are high on the quality, and this one was an extraordinary find.
    Its small size is in keeping with the rest of the T, in that '27 Ts are...compact.

    Thank you, the Speedo is really nice, amazingly even though it's in KPH, The model A Speedo drive ratio makes it near spot on in MPH using my GPS on my phone. So can't complain.

    I think it worked really well with the size and along with the Lincoln v12 gauges aswell suited it fine Bargin really as both Speedo and gauges owe £30 about $35.
