Hot Rods Harvest Drag Races Dayton Oregon

Last Saturday Charlie Haskell and Jeff Ediger held the Harvest Drag Races. There was some really cool and fast cars. Flatheads only

 

Looks like they should have fired up that irrigation system in the background and given the spectators a better view of all the great action !.......looked like lots of fun. These events sure beat the park under a tree with a lawn chair nonsense. Most of all......have fun

Looks like a cool event. It makes me smile to know that here we are almost to the year 2023, and there are events like this still taking place all across the country. God bless America!

How do we find info about dates and invites for next year?

 

So … I don’t live in the land of the free, so this might not be relevant, but I might have the real estate to pull something like this off. Did the participants sign a waiver, was there an admission fee, was this on private property? I mean not a roll bar in sight, and the one guy had a top hat for safety gear. Would I be better to try to rent the local fair ground or moto cross track. How “official “ and structured does something like this get, and did the hosts have a good time?
