Technical Multi Carb Setups -Let's see 'em!

A little more progress on my '54 Bel Air 2dr. post, trying to get the inner fender panels painted and on before the rains arrive... '60 Pontiac .040 over 261, '54 Corvette intake w/Carter YH's, Howard's Rattler custom grind cam, long tube headers with X pipe and both pipes down the left side. The right side has a Joe Hunt (real) magneto, and the oil filter contains a big roll of toilet paper... Been running the intake setup for most of twenty years, note the use of two bell cranks needed because of style of headers. This era of Chevy 6's have a pulldown throttle linkage, it works...How well I don't know yet... dyno Dave

While I'm at it, this is the original Stromberg setup on Ak Miller's El Caballo....

 

Unfortunately the Winfield side-drafts are no longer in place, but this is a full Wayne set-up on a 216 (now 262) Chevy.

 

Last, and by far the most fun. This was what I used on my Crosley Almquist V8-60. It had Stromberg 82's on an Austin manifold... This photo was taken at Sears Point back in 2012.
