Nice work, looks really good. But, if you think those are nice boobs you need to open the window while your welding next time.
Opening the window would cause the flow of air to be disrupted!!...messing with the flow of air durng welding...not good!!....in a week or two.. you will see What WE have coming!...
We have dies for belling holes and I just welded a 3" hole saw slug to the back. Cutting and grinding, man....4"x1/8" tubing...3feet long Ran some tape starting in the center opposite the seam and pulled it to the other end about 120 degrees off center. Cut, marked where it needed ground and ground on it until it followed the curves in the side rail. We built the frame jig for 1932 ford chassis, this table is just a big heavy aluminium surface plate that my dad got from a g.m. sale many years ago and he built the roll-a-round structure deal under it. Oh, and sorry about the boob thing. here is a picture of a very!!!Very!!big boob!!hahaha
Matt....is it going to be a cut out or the exhaust? Looks real good!! I was wondering why only the three holes now I know why. Originally I wanted to do that to the 32 and use it as the exhaust. Was gonna use a sidepipe mufler with inlet and outlet on the same end. Clark
It will be the exhaust...Thought about making mufflers, but will probably just use some cherry bombs, It's got to be quiet enough to drive in Ionia...so I'm alittle concerned.
fuckin awesome Matt. good to see your making some serious progress on the ole girl. lookin good. REAL good.
So, you'll be driving it to Kalamazoo next weekend, right? No paint needed for a shakedown run. Seriously, Matt, it's looking good and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Keep the pictures coming. Frank
