Hot Rods SW Black Face Volt Meter

Did SW produce a volt meter to match these gauges? All I can find are ones with different colours depending on the volt status. Hoping for one that is all black.And yes I have cleaned these .... Didnt realise how dirty the dash was until I saw this pic lol.

From what I remember when I used to sell SW that was the only way they made them and I thought it was strange at the time. I think that is why I ended up putting an Amp gauge in instead.

 

I took this information from a 2001 SW catalog...it shows various styles of needles for Amp gauges...

I personally have no problem with a little bit of color on the voltmeter gauge.

 

@57chevymadman were they new? If so where did you source them please?

 

The colored voltmeter was so all you had to do was glance at it to know you were OK

Thanks but no. Already have an amp gauge Im changing out for volts and looking for black only on the gauge. Appreciate you reaching out though!

 

I have thought about using an old sw amp gauge and putting the volt meter guts behind the face. It would show discharge when off and over on the plus side when running at 12 or 13 volts. You could still monitor what it is doing and not have the new look of a volt meter.

 

Why not get the volt meter with the colored face and have a B&W face made to put over the colored face?
