History Identity of this family car?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Rex Jolles, Oct 29, 2022.

  1. going through old slides I saw my great grandfather's car, these photos were developed in February gpa car 1.jpg gpa car 2.jpg 1968, I went through just about every year of every make from the 60's trying to find a match, I know ive seen one before but can't put my finger on it. It was difficult to get a good photo of it.

interestingly though I saw the car my grandfather (his son) had before he bought his 1969 torino, a gold amc rambler with mismatched tires.

for reference, the rear end of the first photo has 7 letters on the trunklid

Better shot of the rear end. Yeah, that's definitely a '66 Rambler Rebel.
