It's a good size swap meet. I've been twice. It's a big deal for the town. It takes me about 4 hours just for a very quick p*** through.

The "A" had $2500 on it.

    The Terraplane had $1800

The Caddy was $1000, I thought that would make a cool cruiser.

If you're talking about that Dodge pickup I don't know, I didn't get it.

I don't believe that was for sale. The actually brought all their stuff in it.
    I think it's a '36.

A good friend of mine built that Ford Golf cart.

The owner of the cart has a twin full size Victoria. He also has diabetes and is the owner of a small manufacturing business.

Many of the car shows would not allow him to bring a golf cart to drive around. He has problems with his legs due to the diabetes.

My friend (Dave Hinton of Cedar Rapids) works at his company as a fabricator and has a 63 Chevy and 70 Subaru 360. It was his "job" to build the cart about 10 years ago. To be honest he is not pleased with the quality of the bodywork (time limitations) but the overall look is great.

Greenfield is a great swap meat. I've been going for the last 18 years. This year the turn out was a little low because of the weather. We still had good sales and even met another Hamb member. His name is stick shift or stick shaft.

Hey Jim I was glad to meet you. I even met some other HAMBers too. I thought it was a good swap meet. This was my first time there. I did not find what I was looking for, but did see a bunch of decent builder type cars for sale. I was too late on a Model A body and I had a gut feeling I knew who the new owner :p was going to be. It was a 650 mile round trip for me. I took some backroads on the way back hoping to find RESTORITs place. No such luck:( , but I did find some old iron sitting. :)
The drive is always worth it when you get to meet friends and other HAMBers. (and find old tin too) :) Scott

Hat Man, I do not see a picture of the 31 A I bought(?). It was shell with the extra cowl in the track.

Scott, I am really still stoked 'bout the car!! The seller was excellent to work with!!

Scott, It was good to see you again.

Hey John I found a whole bunch of mopar stuff on the way home. Probably not for sale though. Went on a wild goose chase and did not come up with much, but a yard full of mopars. :)

I want to move to Cali. You guys can do this all year round.

  29. I went on Friday morning. I scored a nice set of roadster doors, a 29 grille shell, 29 radiator, a gas tank, and a pair of headlights. Met this really cool guy too that has a bad *** hillbilly truck.
