Why not a decal or sticker for your window that seats you won at that event and what place you won .???

How about instead of the typical plaque, maybe some rather small unobtrusive shape that could be attached by a glued backing and said something like "Yelm Award Winner 2022" at the bottom. Something small enough that it could be attached to a dash or a license or a trunk lid. Maybe the shape of a car or a motor or even a plaque, but small. Then contact one of the magazines like the Rodders Journal and see if you could either send pictures and info detailing the annual winner to be displayed in their magazine. I think getting someones vehicle into a magazine would entice a lot of owners and satisfy their egos.
One other thought.......A big club trophy and each year the winners name gets engraved on it in addition to the small plaque and mag article.

Me...I'm not a trophy kind of guy. I got a trophy wife and thats all I need.;) Besides, I don't have enough talent to ever be in contention for a car trophy so its kind of a moot point for me.:D

I have only a few automotive trophies but a lot of sailing trophies from a lifetime of sailboat racing. Most of the sailing trophies are in boxes stored away. I prefer useful trophies over plastic, engraved plates, cups, plaques, etc. Some of the more useful trophies I have received have been:

    Duffle Bag embroidered with event.
Soft sided 6/12 pack cooler embroidered with event.
Adjustable full brim sun hat embroidered with event.
    Pocket knife engraved with event.
    Others ideas could be:
Yeti type cup engraved with event.
We all carry tools what about a tool roll up embroidered with event.
A embroidered jacket sent to winner in their size after event.

Used to be engraved/embroidered items were expensive due to design and machine set up. Now instead of big companies it is a cottage industry due to computer design and computer controlled machines. It can be inexpensive especially if the event can supply the computer artwork which can be used again for future events.

These were from the Pacific International Street Rod ***ociation 50th Anniversary. Besides the one I was honoured to receive, the best trophy is the kid in the back seat of the car giving me the thumbs up while cruising down the highway.

Our club makes a couple of trophies a year out of unused car parts. They are always treasured. Jmho. Snowman ⛄️
