A quick look will fake a lot of guys thinking it’s a certain unmentionable GM engine. One would look nice in my 56 with all the factory trim on the engine and a 5 speed OD transmission it would be a great addition

“This is my first drag car so I’m learning how important it is to get the right gears, converter, and suspension combination. It’s great on the track and you can street drive this combination, too.”

Hard to imagine, though, that a powerglide and 5,600 rpm stall converter is something you'd want to drive on the street.

I'd like to put one in my 56 but they are still too expensive. You are starting to see some Holley controlled Godzillas now. The motor is cheap it's all the stuff needed to swap it into something.
