Fresh build but I can't keep em all. Built from a rust-free real steel Henry '31 Model A roadster. First-class construction with excellent detailing throughout. Full build was documented in detail so there are no surprises.

Update: You may be able to finance this car with good credit. Here are some recommendations for classic car lenders from Hagerty: https://www.hagerty.com/finance/classic-car-financing/potential-providers

    Sale 2.jpg

Body: Started with a rust-free gennie Ford 1931 roadster body, door skins replaced, below-the-deck-lid panel replaced, damaged wheel well panels repaired. Paint is single-stage urethane in bright Pin Up Red, a standard color from Eastwood so it is both durable and easy to repair/touch-up should it be necessary.

Frame: American Stamping rails, Model A front crossmember, flat c-channel rear crossmember, Pete & Jake's tubular K-member assembly.

Suspension: Front: 4" dropped Super Bell front axle w/ aftermarket spindles and roller kingpins, Pete & Jake's forged 2-stage dropped steering arms, Vega-style steering box w/ SoCal steering damper. Rear: Mustang 8.8 rear axle w/ new Ford Racing 3.73 posi gears, Aldan coil-overs and Mustang-style tubular 4-link.

    Sale 8.jpg

Engine: Ford 302 HO with high-performance cam (specs unknown), stock HO heads, aftermarket chrome 3x2 Thunderbird-style intake manifold and progressive throttle linkage, 3 Ford Motorcraft 2100 carburetors with authentic Thunderbird air cleaner, lakes-style headers w/ under-body exhaust pipes and Smithy mufflers and tailpipes which exit below the rear spreader bar.

Transmission is a Mustang-style Tremek T-5 five speed manual with Steeda Tri-Ax shifter and Hurst short stick assembly. Clutch is HD Ford with hydraulic slave cylinder.

Brakes are GM "metric" mid-size discs in the front from Speedway, rear discs are Mustang 8.8 factory discs. The brake master cylinder is a dual unit from a 1960-62 Chevy C-10 pickup which also includes the master for the hydraulic clutch. The brake/clutch pedals are suspended from the firewall on the inside, the gas pedal is adjustable for throw and position to suit the driver.

    Sale 7.jpg

The interior is done in black pebble grain vinyl with Austin Healey-style bucket seats and rubber truck mat floor covering. Steering column is a Speedway "Nostalgia" with functional turn signals and horn, topped by an aftermarket 15-inch '40 Ford-style steering wheel. Gauges are matcing Stewart-Warner electric including the tach and pulse speedometer. All the switches are mounted out of sight behind the dash panel so none are visible.

The fuel tank holds approx 15 gallons and is located in the trunk along with the battery. The fuel tank is sealed so there is no danger of fumes entering the car. The radiator is a Mustang-style unit of brass, not aluminum and cools the car adequately even on hot days. The cooling fan is engine-driven. The wiring is via a skillfully installed Speedway Motors 12-circuit mini-fuse wiring kit.

I'm open to close offers, but please don't be insulting. Might be interested in an unfinished roadster project car trade-in plus cash. I don't need pen pals, so please respond only if you are seriously interested in buying it. Thanks!

(More photos to come. Click on each images to make it larger to appreciate the detailing.)

If you are tired of looking at poorly built and poorly detailed cars, take a look at this one. It's as nice underneath as it is on top. It's a total quality build that is fairly priced.

This car feels more like a sports car thanks to the all-business upholstery, aircraft-style belts, short-throw shifter and Cobra-style bucket seats. Still available.

Doors close with a satisfying thunk, seat belts are aircraft-style from Juliano's, the deck lid is opened by an old-school electric solenoid (with a manual back-up just in case) and the Pin Up Red paint is unmistakable. It could still be yours...

Be ready for roadster season next year with this top-shelf fresh built traditional-style '31 Model A on '32 rails with a Ford 302 HO engine / 5-speed. It's quick and fun and not over-the-top fancy. Still could be yours. :)

Christmas is upon us and this cool little red roadster still doesn't have a new home. So...keep in mind that Spring comes after Christmas, and Roadster Season comes right after that. So it's not too late!

Built very much in the theme of traditional roadsters from the '40s and '50s, this car is a blast to drive as well as being truly eye-catching with its lipstick red color and aggressive stance. Recapture what it was like to drive a real hot rod! Still available!

This car is for the guy who wants something a little bit different in a roadster. Not the cookie-cutter street rod Deuce like everybody else's, but a hot rod that is hard-edged and real. Still available.

This hot rod is a little bit different (!) than your ordinary, every-day, run-of-the-mill "street rod" roadster. No fluffy upholstery, mega-watt stereo or pansy hide-away top, this one is more like a sports car. It has only what it needs to go fast, handle well and stop safely. No fancy stuff or useless bling. It's serious business.
