What is the least restrictive air filter / cleaner for Stromberg 97's ?
I am running two 97's and the ones I have are causing rich conditions.
I am using the 2" x 3-1/2 " paper units now. Thanks for any info. IMG_3572.JPG

One of the members did a flow test on filters just a month ago or 2. Search for "flow test" might bring it to the top.

My neighbor has a flow bench and uses it. He told me that the plenum I created was good. I laid a flat plate over my 3 deuces, with a hole for each carb, used 3x2 air filter (62 Ford 406??) and added another flat stainless steel plate as a top. Easy, effective. No photo

upload_2022-11-13_12-1-42.jpeg Go TALL. More surface area = less restriction.

K&N filters pretty much outflow everything else out there.
Just make sure the housing doesn't become a bottleneck.

I have used K&N filters in everything I own since I started using them in my motorcycle racing days in the 70's. A fully dirty K&N will flow slightly less than a paper filter when new. I am currently running K&N filers on my F250, my wife's Mercury, my OT El Camino and my avatar hemi powered deuce roadster. K&N guarantees then 10 years or a million miles. Pricy, but good stuff with plenty of copy cats out there.
