Full Moons, not baby Moons, you smart alec.

 

Full Moon Disc/Dzus fastened....

 

All time favorite, John Stimac's 34. (John's photos) Love that the discs are screwed into Ansen Sprints. Maybe I need to post one one of this car w/o the discs on the "greatest 'mag' equipped hot rod" thread.

 

Standing beside the front tire is Rich Venza from AI fibergl*** and you can see the rear portion of the Posies yellow model A panel.

 

In '59 & '60, Dad ran MOON Discs on his daily driver '55 Plymouth Belvedere More-Door Mild Custom:

By '61, those MOON Discs made their way onto his chopped & channeled, 331ci Hemi-powered '32 Ford 5wd Coupe:

Have them on my Elco (since '94 when I got the car on the road) and found another used set of 15" for something in the future.

Only pic I have right now as I'm not at home.

 

Like them on some cars...NOT on some others. Had a pal who rode the bus to H S and wore a Moon like a Chinese Coolie hat to school one day. Got sent home.....came back in greasy coveralls driving his Lincoln ohv powered A roadster pickup. Yup detention ...... ah, the good ole early 60s.

I have always liked the look of the moon disc and used them on my Model A pickup for several years when it was my daily driver. HRP
