I don't know man, with the white walls it needed to have the *** end dropped. What is the best version???
Hello, When we were in our last Westside of Long Beach home, the Joe Mailliard Automotive Engineering Shop was near our house on the Westside neighborhood. It was a small shop with a single garage door opening and a large workplace inside. The parts counter and tons of parts were located there. Why does the 1410 Cota address sound familiar? During this early history of Westside of Long Beach speed shops, Joe Mailliard had the building, but then in 1959, he made the move to a better public access location (the 2nd most busiest street in the whole city) near the local city automotive dealers and our old high school. 1959 Then the Mickey Thompson Shop became close to our house at the 1410 COTA location in the Westside of Long Beach. Jnaki During the time of the “big” move to the new larger location in central downtown Long Beach, they were well known for running all sorts of drag racing hot rods and race cars. Sidewinder push truck and parts runner for the Joe Mailliard Automotive Engineering Shop. chrome wheels and all…
What do you think about a thin white wall, maybe two inches? I can't get much of a dish on the rears.
2 1/4" whitewalls are correct for a 57- early sixties build style. I would lose the baby moons and put spiders on it, not my car though.. you should do what you like
Jim, thanks. Your 27 is awesome. I was actually referring to this succulent candied beast that @hotrodder1932 posted. The fronts look like 16s. Does anyone know the wheel and tire specifics
I put these 15s and bias plies on my Stude. They came off of my ‘31 Tudor. I’ve got these at the chrome shop getting redone. Neat old Cal Custom stuff. And I have these Cal Custom Blackjacks too. The wheels are 14” NOS Appliance. This stuff came with the truck but new 14” tires are expensive, so I used the 15s that I had on the rack.
