Thanks for all the backstory. I didn't think anyone would know of it. We went to Dick Walters Ford to see it. It was stored in a dilapidated tiny one stall garage within sight of the dealership. Friend Joe owned a blue 289 at the time and I'm sure lusted for the 427. We all lusted for it! It was spectacular! Never saw or heard of it again. The blue snake. Crane cam. Mondello heads. Wicked fun!
302GMC: This truck was owned by one of my best friends, the late Steve Dana from Bellows Falls, VT in the 1980s. He was hauling this late-1940s Diamond T pickup truck which he had bought out west and hauled back to VT. Another friend of mine who is a professional restorer bought it from Steve a few years later and turned it into a really tasteful restorod. Do you know any of the ownership history of this truck or who he bought it from? Did you you take this photo? You're from Idaho and must know the Garage was in Leadore, Idaho, do your know anything about it?
