History ID this air cleaner lid

    Found this in my parts horde. I've have it for 20 plus years. It's cheap low buck item for sure. But anyone know who made it back in the day??

    Cal custom but it'll fit on a Dodge.

    The concave top says Cal Custom. Worst aftermarket air filter ever, performance wise.

    Maybe, but I wouldn't want to catch it with those rusty sharp edges.

    With a plastic or phenolic knob on it I believe it’s a skillet lid.

    Also I found a cal custom for sale here. The cal custom has a flat spot for the wing nut.

    I don't believe I'd eat anything that came out of skillet with that for a lid.
    Well maybe the rust would be good for you if you were anemic....

    no, there's lots of newer parts in most of our pre-65 cars. The truck in the picture is a 59.
