Is it possible to remove pinion shaft without taking the rear end all apart. The reason I ask as I change to open drive kit from Speedway and used the old rear end. The hole in the yoke doesn't line up good with hole in pinion shaft. Thanks

So see how far off it is, and drill a new hole in the yoke a couple splines over. I would never modify the Ford part if the Speedway part is the offender.

Why not send the defective part back and have them send a correct part.

My guess is it will take some precision measuring to tell exactly how far off the two holes are. Can you do that? Then remove the semi-installed yoke from the car, and redrill the bad hole. Can you do that?

Talked to Speedway Motors today. The Yoke was drilled wrong, they are sending me
the correct one. Thanks for everyone's help.
