Driven by Ben Woody from Norfolk Virginia, 426 Hemi powered 1965 Dodge Coronet owned by Kenny Warren from Arlington Virginia. IIRC it was short ram dual quads when run in this picture but later was converted to Hilborn straight tube injectors running Nitro-methane. Kenny Warren owned several MOPAR cars for years following running nitro, moving on to full bodied flopper style injected funny cars (A/FC class) in ’68 IIRC and continued on thru ’72 with several drivers all under car name of Virginia Twister. His cars were well known on East Coast Fuel Funny Car Circuit (ECFFCC) mostly driven by Tom “Smoker” Smith and was major hard hitter (winner) on that circuit. Hmmm…. now why do I remember that last part?
Here is a picture of some I did in the 1980's for my '28 roadster pickup using 21 inch Model A wheels with GM 15 x7 inch rims on the rear and 50's Dodge 15 x 4inch rims on the front.
