Condolences Bones....always tough to lose a good friend. Hot Rod Prayer When hot rod friends pass away, it’s sometimes hard knowing what to say. You can offer your help with things you can do but I have a theory which I believe is true. I'm sure they've gone to a wonderful place....where side by side the hot rods race...where tires are burnin' and revs are high and no, that's not thunder in the sky. It’s the sound of hot rods on the line....waiting for that green light sign.....where 1/4 miles are less than 7. Yes, they've gone to hot rod heaven. Can't remember where I snagged this from.....credit to the author.
Grieving is difficult, and never truly ends; but it can be helped by sharing the good times you once shared, with other friends. Condolences. Jon.
Sorry for your loss. I lost my car buddy almost three years ago. I occasionally reach for the phone to call him. Billy
So sorry for your loss. I know the feeling as I lost a close hotrod friend of 35 years this past summer to Alzheimer’s. We’re ALL here for you.
Sorry for your loss. Been a rough year; lost three 52 year olds to motorcycle accidents and a seventy year old to heart valve issues. Be strong..
Death is inevitable, losing close friends is just as devastating as the loss of a family member. The older we get the more names and faces will be committed to memory, these people made a impact on our lives and help shape the person each and everyone of us are today. As long as you remember these individuals and tell the tales they will never be forgotten, HRP
It's never easy to say goodbye. Three years ago the good Lord called my dad home just before he was ready to retire. He was the reason that I got into cars and the one person that I wanted to show my build off to. You just got to keep on wrenching, take time to heal and remember the good times.
Sorry for your loss Bones...Good friends are hard to lose.... My bestest ol' car buddy is slipping away with Dementia /Alzheimers... Every day , he's just gone a little bit more..
It sucks and sorry to hear of your loss. About a year ago I lost a friend same age as me to a second stroke he had. We had been friends since we were teenagers. He wasn't into cars but loved riding around in mine. When I went to his funeral this picture was there from the early eighties with my car in his parent's driveway. RIP Vince.
We may think it's about the cars...But when it comes right down to it... IT'S REALLY ABOUT THE PEOPLE sorry for your loss Boneyard
