I started an earlier post about having to replace the dash lights on a 65 vette. Well I have the car here and he asked about the headlights also and they were pointing all different directions. I took the covers off and it turns out there's two different year I'm guessing doors. The p***enger side door is missing the adjuster and I can't seem to locate it. Anybody know what year these are? The first and second picture are the p***enger side which is missing the adjustment screw and ***embly as you can see . 20221216_151108.jpg 20221216_151059.jpg 20221216_151049.jpg

  3. As far as I know; 1963 Corvettes have fibergl*** buckets (metal bezels) while late '63 to '67s are metal cast.. Otherwise, again as far as I know there should be little or no difference to the internals.
This should cover the re-build: C2 Headlight Bucket ***embly - Corvette Central Tech Blog

When I owned a NAPA store 20 years ago there were adjusters available that looked like these. You might try to take one off and take it in to see if they can match it. If they have their old catalogs there may even be an application listing. The Balkamp catalog also showed pictures but no dimensions. I also stocked some that came from the warehouse displayed on a spinner rack, may have been from Dorman with NAPA branding. You could take some photos with a ruler showing dimensions if there is a concern it may break. I wouldn't want to ruin a good one without knowing it can be replaced. These may not be available after all this time but worth looking into. Chevy shared a lot of parts between car lines, may not be a specialty Corvette item. It probably goes without saying, but your best shot is going to be an old independent store where they kept their old catalogs and have an old hand around who actually knows something about parts. Don't confine your search to NAPA, most parts stores had these around back in the day, may be some left on the shelf.

Found out what I needed. Turns out I have a 63 door and a 64 and later door and the one missing the hardware has the wrong pivot on it that attaches the adjuster. Thanks for all the help as I found the parts needed just need to buy them
