They’re on a dodge !!!! it’s like shooting stuff in a thing sometimes honestly homeslice , no clue on the lamps . They’re cool and , like I said on a dodge
Ok @VANDENPLAS , I'll type slowly so you can follow... The question was "...identify year and make....of these HEADLIGHTS..." We ALL know they're on a f@$#&*g Dodge! Geeze.... the whole world knows it's (always) a Dodge! Concentrate boy, concentrate. By the way, it's a cool looking Dodge! back to regular programming....
I hate to admit any chevy parts would make a Dodge look better but boy those headlights are so much better than stock ones! Dave
Actually ‘42-‘46. The ‘41 Chevy and GMC trucks used a parking light cover assembly borrowed from the 1940 Pontiac cars.
I'll split the difference with you. Actually/specifically it's '42 - '47. The 41 Pontiac parking light assembly also went into early 42 and the late 42 and 46 parking light went into early 47.
Those years Dodges have a bad rust problems in the headlight buckets. So, the Chevy lights fixed the ugly and the rust
So fitting these things, the curve is a bit different, as i figured, but not terrible. I've never done anything with metal of like this, as far as making 2 different radiuses fit nicely. I'm thinking Cut a hole about 1/2" smaller than the GMC headlight assembly. Hammer/dolly a nice curved inward until I get the fit I want. (rolled in) GMC assembly should rest nicely on top. weld new bracketry on bottom of fender. bolt up and wire. Am I way off?
