It has become apparant that I'm not going to be able to build this car. It's a 1955 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 sedan. I bought this from an elderly couple whose son had dis***embled it in their garage, left it there during college, became a doctor, and moved to New York. After 18 years they decided to get rid of it. They couldn't find the ***le and I never got around to getting one so I'll provide a bill of sale. The car is dis***embled, but it is complete, all the parts are there. All the gl*** is there and in good shape, except the windshield which is in 2 pieces. All the trim, interior parts, bumpers, and grille are there and pretty nice. Some of the die cast parts have peeling chrome. The engine is a 324 with a four barrel. The heads have been gone through at some point, they told me that it was a running car when he took it apart, but I have no way of verifying that. Rust in the rockers, windshield area, hood, lower doors, and trunk. The seats are nice and the frame is in good shape. $2500 OBO. The car is located in Orange CA. I can help load it on a trailer.
