Art & Inspiration It’s Colder than…

7 degrees here this morning. Didn’t get out of the 20’s all day. On the plus side, the sun is shining…think I’ll take the roadster out for a spin. Merry Christmas!

 

5 degrees below last night and a wind chill of -10 to -20. only got to 18 degrees today and is 25 degrees in my shop. I will remain in the house. I hate winter dammit.

 

Lol tell @57 Fargo that his weather got out and it's down here in my yard drunk!! Please come get it! This is a battery endurance test I guess

 

Who will be the first to complain about the heat in the Summer of 2023? Merry Christmas!

If I wanted to be this cold, I’d live in The Black Hills! It was 2 here this morning. I hate winter.

Christmas day here. 36C expected here (98.6F). Spending the day in the daughter's swimming pool.

Yesterday it got up to -5 with a windshield of -27. today it got up to 10 but the windshield was still -8. but next Saturday they are talking 52 degrees. I hope that is right because I said the f word this to plowing and shoveling in this weather when it will be gone next week.

I feel your pain. Got so cold here last night that I had to wear socks with my flip-flops.

Chicago burbs - had last week off and didn't spend any time in the garage. End of the week temps are coming up, I'll wait it out.

 

cold over hot any day. can always put more on. run out of things to take off. cold is when you haven't shut your truck off for a week. cold is when you've yelled "fuck winter" out your back door, and hear the echo in april when it thaws...

It was 3 degrees here this morning. Still so cold that my computer froze up and I had to type this on a mechanical typewriter....

 

So cold here I saw a jackrabbit with a set of jumper cables trying to start a old hound dog!
10* last night, got up to 25* today. Supposed to be in the 60’s by Saturday, I can hardly wait.

 

Cold is one thing.
Extreme cold is another.

Extreme cold with high winds is downright dangerous.

 

You call that cold....... woke up to -20c this morning with wild chill hovering around -35c
Been like this for about a week, weatherman promising a bit warmer for Christmas Day.
I have no idea why I live in this god forsaken province..
On a brighter note ..my son showed up in the driveway with a free car today ..a genuine barn find 1965 Rambler ambassador. Yeah ,I know , hardly classifies as a classic , but what the heck, free is always good. And it’s in real nice shape.
In spite of the cold! The car craziness continues unabated.

Fun with old cars in spite of the weather. In this part of the country you learn to live with it , or just hide in the basement til spring..

 

One of the reasons I left New York was the cold weather and now the dam global warming is freezing me here in the south.

Well, it was in the -40's earlier this week. It's only -11 right now.
