And now for some unloved Fords in Israel (NMP)

'53 Chevy convertible! This car would part out for a fortune, even in the rough shape it's in. Or someone would buy it and graft the convertible bits into a Belair hardtop tub. Either way, a shame to see that one sit, hope it doesn't end up scrapped.

 

This Ford Prefect (1949-53) was for sale in Melbourne recently. It's an Oz-built Prefect with the extended boot/trunk. The English-built Prefect (flat back) was also sold here. Ford Oz, it seems, couldn't build enough to meet demand so they imported English Prefects.

Those IH trucks ^^^ used to be everywhere you looked around here. Still see quite a few at farm auctions

 

Photo from the net; Chev ute recently for sale. I'm fairly sure there was one of these, amongst other cars, dumped just outside my home town - about 40 years ago ... then the local council used that area as a rubbish tip; the ute is probably still there, but well and truly buried.

Visited a small honey hole yesterday in Elmore County Alabama. Took several pictures. All chevys. Guy has cars spread acrossed several properties, And get this, he's 23 years old.

 

Elmore County Alabama. My favorite. Sold yesterday to a friend for parts.

 

Even a 55. On his other property is a 56. Both run, but have no brakes.
