hell with the SBC...they have them with BBC provisions now. imagine one of those with a 572 in it funny story about one of those... i was at a rally back before i sold my bike (dumbest thing i ever did) and i saw one of those things with an LT1 in it. started asking the guy about it. "so what's the horsepower in that thing?" "oh about 340 to 1 tire." "yeah, what's it weigh?" "about 1100lbs" "isn't that a little hard to ride?" "hell no...wanna take it for a spin?" without hesistation, "NO!" "aw, c'mon...it's not bad at all." HELL no..." there is no way i could get on that thing because i'd have to see what it could do and i know that as soon as i opened the throttle to the stop, it'd land on top of me. he then followed me around trying to convince me that it wasn't that bad and that i oughta take it for a ride. looking back on it now, i shoulda taken the chance but i was younger and dumber and really probably would have hurt myself and the super expensive bike. probably never have the chance again.
Ok it looks like an old Renault Daulphine with a mountain motor. I wouldn't probably buy it but it would be fun to take it for a spin just once.
the guy owns a body shop in NJ, builds kickass stuff, just built a kickass 55 convert that lays frame a little new school with the wheels but is nice. he had a wagon like that vespa that he did up nice too. he always has "cool" shit. even if not traditional. i think he has a new GT40 too?
