I think I’ve recovered from the Rod run. Spent three days roaming amongst the cars, vendors, & after hour shows. My ass was worn out. Interesting though that I never spied a single HAMB sticker, tee shirt, or other indication of HAMB presence…
Hot rods are a small part of the automotive hobby. Traditional hot rods are a smallish part of the “hot rod” hobby. H.A.M.B. qualified hot rods are a smallish part of the traditional “style”segment. What percentage of the cars their actually fully met the H.A.M.B. criteria?
next time put a H.A.M.B. sticker on your forehead - then you will get noticed by others that are there
I have one on the cowl vent of mine. I didn't put the car in the show but was at the night time activities Fri. and Sat.
I'm in Carleton/Exeter Twp, my shop is in Frenchtown Twp. Been in this area over 20yrs, originally Dearborn.
I'm one of the photographers for the event - I try to get as much as I can, but there are so many cars!!! I basically shoot what catches my eye....some pictures here: https://troytremble.smugmug.com/Daytona-Turkey-Run/Turkey-Run-2022/
