Curious what these 5 spokes with P&S size bearings and original M&H funny car tires might be worth? Also this pair of magnesium A/FX style 15”x6” rears. Or what about true original Covico wheels?
the 6x15's d spoke are not very common. if they are 5 on 4.5 bc they would work on a 65 cammer mustang.
I've never paid more than $650 for a pair of 5 spoke or 12 spoke spindle mounts and I've bought a few pairs over the past several years. I'm not even going to make an offer on the pair currently for sale with an asking price of $1000.00. Prices are going up though. I'll pay you $700 for them if you're interested. Your Covico wheels are in incredible condition. I see people asking $300 an up for them. I don't know if they're selling for that. Too rich for my blood. The torque thrust D's have really gone up in value over the past few years too. I've never paid more than $600 per pair but I'd say they're worth $900-$1000. Not quite as valuable as the straight spokes. But the guy who chimed in about Mustangs may know about a market for them that I don't know about.
I appreciate your input, I was just curious as to what current values are. I generally don’t sell stuff, kinda just stock it for when my projects need it. Mike Guffey definitely knows what any of it is worth. That pair of mag bent A/FX wheels are at least worth twice of comparable straight spoke magnesium Americans are…
@bowie - You're just showin' off! Lol That green wheel would be great in my new '55 Chevy. Trade ya for a 2 hole Covico and cash your way if interested. I dang near believe you could start a museum like Mark's!
@chevy57dude : I saw you are starting on a’55 htop project. I am looking forward to what you turn her into. Unfortunately that greenie wheel is destined for my ‘36 pickup. I will keep my eye out for any that turn up.
In looking around the garage, I found an olive green Superior 13.5”, that I would donate to your project; if you want to run it. I realize you are probably looking for a Kelly green one in the 14.5”-15” range , but your welcome to this one.
Quite the offer! Thank you! If it's gonna fit, I will take you up on the generous offer. Got a few things to get worked out, then I'll get into that '55 HT.
