Can't get flatty to start. Tried everything...Getting spark and fuel. I did notice some ac***ulation of fuel on intake manifold. Test metered all wires and Mallory electric ignition good spark and spark on all plugs.

I thought maybe the float was stuck and removed top half of carb, looked fine. First attempt it turned over and ran for 10 seconds then stalled.
    Thanks, Mike

I'm probably not a whole lot of help but here is the page with the tune up specs out of my 1946 Motor manual. IMG_7422 (2).JPG

Still for any engine to run you need a mixture of fuel and air, compression and igniton = spark all at the correct time.

It ran and then it stopped. Good spark and fuel. It sounds like you are very close, these are finicky engines. @Pete told me earlier this year "sometimes it's a lot of little things" that keep them running good. Keep at it, small adjustments, and you'll get it

Thx for the post....When I took the battery out to charge it I must have pulled on the engine ground, you know the braided copper ground wire? Anyway, I chased it to a no engine ground. bought a new ground wire and she started right up! Happy motoring!
