Assembling my car and needed to order kick down cable and trans. fill tube for my blown small block chevy with350 turbo transmission and can not find anyone having in stock. Parts back ordered until March......Anyone have a good supplier for Lokar, apparently they have a supply issue ?
Take the wire linkage out, tap the hole and plug it. You can manually downshift it. That’s what I did anyway.
Speaking of transmissions and superchargers, don't forget to install a vacuum modulator logic valve or your trans won't shift under boost. Most blower shops have them https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url...ved=0CA8QjRxqFwoTCKiiwtDSrPwCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD -Abone.
You can manually down shift when needed , Trains modulator on Vac side ( roots) Above rotors , Not "pressure/ boost "" below rotors
Worth looking on eBay for these parts, sellers aren't allowed to sell you stuff that is "backordered" on eBay so if it shows up there it should be in stock, or you can get your money back right away. I hate the look of the billet aluminum dipstick knob that the Lokar setup has but I have to admit, after trying everything else multiple times, their system is the only thing that would keep my dipstick tube from leaking. The threaded-on fastener that goes in from underneath with the transmission pan off really is a great design.
