I've googled and searched but can't seem to find another one like it. No numbers that I could see. Thanks
looks like this offy one, mopar flathead 6 Offy lists this in the catalog as fitting Plymouth 1937 to 1956 and Dodge 1938 to 1956
Yea that does look like it. Thanks! Just my luck, the demand and value of a 2x1 for a vintage Plymouth is probably nil...
If this is an auction, I'll go $100 Honestly, someone will want this setup, probably more than me. Sure it's an oddball, but it's a hard-to-find oddball. I'd commit war crimes for a 2x2 Cadillac flathead intake, and I can't be one of more than a handful of people who want one. But since there's so few out there, they remain out of reach.
There are two variants of the Mopar flathead six, the ply-dodge short block (23" long head) and desoto-Chrysler/Canada long block (25") Both had a very long production run, mid 30s to early 60s, so that setup should be easy to sell. What carbs are on it?
ok guys, all buying and selling needs to be done via pm or the cl***ifieds only..... If the OP wants to sell it, he needs to put a number on it and advertise in the cl***ifieds
Gives me time to dig through my couch cushions for change to outbid these high rollers in here. Seriously though, someone will want that. If you can't use it, pick your price and put it up for sale. It's a shame for stuff like that to just lay around, and you'll get some money to put toward whatever project you're working on, so it's win-win.
There is a sizeable amount of people interested in Plymouth 6 cylinder speed equipment. Do as Moriarty said and list it in the for sale section. You will be surprised at the response that you will get.
OP, a bit ago I boxed up a 2x1 with carbs off a 218/230 (I was just helping out as the seller didn’t want to ship) I don’t recall the brand, but could send an email to the guy who bought it to see what he paid or what it was listed for, he did a package deal with split exhaust and an OD 3 speed. But things may have been listed separately.
Now that I know what I'm looking for I have the Fenton split exhaust for it (one of the pieces has a broken ear on it) and an Edmunds aluminum head for the same motor. It will all definitely be for sale as soon as I can do some research and see what fair prices would be.
