    Isn't this the same color as the Chrysler Turbine cars? I always thought it to be a production color. BTW, I have an unbuilt model of one also and it's colored plastic, no need for paint.
     
  4. Looks to be the same color.
    My kit is a very old one. The parts are this very odd light blue-green color. I started it long ago and just painted any parts that were supposed to be black. I never found any copper red spray paint that was close enough and so the kit sat.
