I found this in a crate with some other items at a yard sale and paid $80 bucks for everything. Any info on this will be much appreciated.
My 40 Ford has one of those manifolds, they are highly sought after. I would be willing to bet that you could get at least 2 grand for it. Ebay would be the best way to really find out what it is worth
I'm sorry that I'm not that internet savvy but I barely saw your reply today and the thing is I've been trying to figure out how to post it on eBay I guess I wasn't getting the freezing correctly and since this horn has Holly carburetors on it I guess I made it a little bit more difficult but I think it's from 49 or to 53 I'm not really sure but I'm going to do my best and post it on there and see what happens but thank you for the advice
I also thought it was for a Cadillac but it has two carburetors that say Holly 2100 and then it has two that say Ford 8BA which I think give me a year range from 49-53 but that kind of confused me on to what vehicle it was actually for and how to phrase my posting correctly so eBay can guess the best amount for it. Even if I sell it for 1,200.00 to me that's awesome because for the 80.00 bucks I got another Edelbrock carb and some vintage tools as well. But thank you very much for the help.
Oh and to rod1 my phone won't let me conversate, but I would like to sell it and you said to let you know. Bear with me please,I'm learning , barely to use the web.
I did learn this since no cars were manufactured between the years 42 to 45 because of the war that the carburetors that were made during that time were mostly made for the military one maybe possibly for a 45 Ford I believe so if you get a carburetor that has the model number 2129 that's the year that it was made for and those are kind of rare does the model number that is on the the four carburetors that are on my horn intake manifold
I have one more question since the other two carburetors were made from 49 to 51 cuz they have that Port vacuum on them and they say 8BA as the model number, Is that the years I'm going to use?
I am no expert, but the Holley 94 was a Ford Carburetor that was frequently used by hot rodders to modify other makes of vehicle. The model and year of production will not be the same as what the intake fits. The intake is a aftermarket piece, I am not sure what features you need to look for to ID what years it will fit. You may also be able to find a rough year range of when Horn made parts.
