    Hey Folks,
Can anyone explain to me where I can mount the sending unit for my oil pressure gage on my model b four banger?
    Thanks

Follow the line of the distributor shaft down the side of the block. There should be a plug at bottom just above the pan. Be warned. If you are running a gauge you will scare youself to death.

Depending on how your engine is built along with any modifications to the pump....it depends.
On the curb side of the motor is a hump as well as in the oil pan. That is where the oil pump is located.
There is a plug in the block....there is oil pressure behind that. That is one place you can tap in to. Miller OHV oil pump outlet.jpg The photo is of an engine that has an OHV conversion and a modified oiling system but it shows the location of said tap.
Another place is on the bottom of the valve cover is a galley that the oil pump discharges into. You can pull the side cover, drill and tap it to accept a pipe fitting.
You are going to need a gauge that has a mid range of maybe 15 psi and it may not indicate any oil pressure at hot idle with a stock oil pump. You might have 8-10 psi max running down the road and if your engine bearings are loose....less than that
    Good luck

You better get a gauge that goes from 0 to 20 psi, expect about 6 to 8 psi

Warning A and B blocks are leakers even with modern seals buy a new drilled crank and feed it with large diameter feed lines at moderate pressure for best resaults

Here’s mine. I run an SW gauge 0-10. At idle I get about 6, driving I get 3. Engine internally is cleaner than some surfaces I’ve eaten off of and the oil pump is brand new. No leaks.
