Does anyone make a partial firewall? Something to accommodate a later model motor. Trying to avoid cutting out the original and doing a complete replacement. The original has already been modified and the toeboard area needs to be replaced.
Will try and get a pic. This body was a drag car at one time with the motor moved back. The original firewall comes straight down from the cowl. Where the firewall came forward for the toeboard area, that was removed.

The battery box is gone. Actually what is there now is pretty much like the Yogi firewall posted above. Wanted to come out into the engine bay more to get leg and foot room back. Have a small block so don't need to move the firewall back as far as the Yogi big block unit. Probably need to test the sheetmetal/welding skills and start fabrication.
A carefully done homebrew addition to the remaining upper section of the original firewall should look better than a full aftermarket street rod firewall.
