Hey group. Been out of the car thing for awhile now and getting back on the wagon. I am picking up a 54 F100 that needs a new floor, cab corners, and god knows what else. Who sells the best patch panels for these trucks? Also, in the past I recall lots of these trucks rusting by the head light, I see a fender but not that inner pc that rust out. Does some one make those? I would figure they would make everything I need. I also am thinking door bottoms might be needed. Point me in a direction of who sells the best sheet metal these days.

54's are F-100's, not F-1's... you need to know that when searching for parts.

LMC Truck carries most of what you need.
They may make some parts or contract from US companies and China for other parts.

EMS offers various stamped components as well and I believe they stamp most of their products.
They do go around the Mid 50's years F100's though.

I went thru the floors on my 56. I am pretty sure all the patch panels are the same- made by someplace overseas... So I would just get the best price and buy em. They need to be fitted and m***aged but work OK. I think the newer ones are a lot better than the earlier repops, but still not as good as factory.

  6. You're going to need some very Good Sheetmetal skills to make things right. Close is all these are going to be and as mentioned it don't matter where you get them. I'd choose the Vender closest to me to save a little on shipping. Door bottoms and door skins are a JOKE! But ya gotta start somewhere right? I hand formed all of what I needed just because I can.
