I've mentioned it before but I guess it bears repeating, the HAMB Drags was the only event this summer that I made, or am making, cookies for. Those that got cookies in the spring (Jalopy Showdown and Billetproof) should consider themselves fortunate. It was shortly after these shows that I determined I could not bake without tasting therefore my cookie production had to cease for awhile.

I have made exceptions for 3 auction winners this summer but that I consider benefiting the HAMB as a whole. Looks to me like someone has to outbid Notebooms if they want cookies before the end of this year.

I wasn't planning on going, but I may need to deliver some parts if they don't fit in Regret....I'll make sure I stop by the grill and say hello to all my Nats North buddies..

Reminds me... if anyone from Indy needs some new swap meet treasure carried back, I'm taking my econo-box pickup. It's not big enough to haul m***ive loads, but I can probably handle doors and fenders and such.

Look for Dad's almost-thread-killing car (posted above) and the canopy with Texas and Colorado flags hanging off of it. If I'm out galavanting around, ask my mom for my cell #.... (she knows me as either "dammit" or Glen )

For that matter if you need some items carried up, PM me, but do it quick... I'm trying to leave right after work tomorrow.

 

My son & I will be there all day Saturday. I'm easy to spot - the pot-bellied old fart wearing a Nats North t-shirt

I'll fill you guys in on alittle secret....... I'll be grilling French Toast on Sunday morning on the RRT BBQ. Come for breakfast if your still in town.

 

I will be there on Saturday. This will be my 3-month old daughters first car show. (beyond the quick jaunt to Woodward.) Gotta start them young!!

I'll be there on Sunday. I'm going to Hell Mi for an all he**** car show. Those guys are a little weird but usually have a pretty good turn out. I'll be the guy at the NATS with a wagon and one 17" american torque thrust wheel in it for sale. I'll only have on because you gotta have room for all the stuff nobody else wanted to take home. The other 3 will be in my truck.

 

I'll hope to be there at some point on Sunday, but I'm not sure if it'll be just me and my oldest - or the entire klan. Nobody really cares though, since Flathead Pete and Jdubbya are the only ones that would know me.

I'm mostly goin for the swap area though - there's just something about old junk that I love looking at it. I might be in my 65 biscayne wagon.

 

My oldest car is a chopped 49 Merc so I won't be in the show but try to stop by Sat.,see you then .

Quit buying cars you dont want and you wont have to worry about selling them all the time ! I'll be there saturday. Pat
