Edelbrock 94 carb gasket between the top and the body. Pretty new carb, only about 2 years use. Fuel pressure is correct. Haven't been inside this particular carb before..... because it's new.
The gasket weeps. Very annoying. Engine and EVERYTHING is new. I'm probably going to make my own replacement gasket. What's the best gasket material for today's "gasoline?"

If it’s the same as the original Holley 94. You can get a thicker one on E Bay. The reason for leaks usually on those and stromberg the top cover is a little warped. Thicker gaskets will solve leaks. Also take top and run it over sand paper on flat surfaces.

I'll check the top out for flatness. Thanks for that and link.

I use a pane of gl*** as the base with a sheet of sand paper for flattening the surface of the carb tops. Many are warped beyond the sanding/trueing fix so I made up a thick piece of aluminum which I drilled and tapped for attaching the carb top. I use small C clamps to force the tops back to a fairly flat position using smalls washers as shims to ***ist in the process. It has been very helpful in getting them flat.

With no offense meant to anyone:

    (1) Sanding, milling, filing, etc. the gasket surface might temporarily fix the issue, but the warpage will come back sooner than before, and worse than before.
    (2) Thicker gaskets (same as (1) above, but will make the warpage MUCH worse). Unless spacing is an issue, the thinnest gasket possible is normally the best.
    (3) Heat and pressure (see post above by vtwhead) and straighten the casting(s).
    (4) Answer to original question, we use Armstrong N-8090, which is a really good material especially around fuel.

I put the thicker Best Gasket Inc. item on it. (1/16")
    We'll see how it goes.

Already swapped the gasket out, so I guess I'll see.
