I used POR-15 on the floor of my 61 Corvair. I didn't paint over the POR-15. I used a scotch brite pad to scuff the surface and laid the Dynamat. I used it throughout the floor, rear package area, roof, and inside doors.
It is an expensive product and adds weight but the end result is worth it. The interior is nice and quiet and the doors sound great when closing. Nice and tight with no drowning. Heat in the car is not as big of an issue with a rear engine car.
I have a video that clearly illustrates how well the Dynamat works. I run a 2.5 inch strait pipe on my turbo witch is a bit on the loud side but in the car it is just right.
I would post the video but I don't have a YouTube account and don't really want one.
Bottom line DYNAMAT WORKS VERY WELL.

Bringing an old thread back to life...

Anyone have issues with Dynamat/Fatmat/Hushmat/whatever type products sticking to things like Bill Hirsch Miracle Paint or POR15?
