Event Coverage Let's take a trip down memory lane...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by seadog, Jan 21, 2023.

  1. It's a slow day in the neighborhood and too cold to go for a roadster ride so, how about a revisit to one of the very first Steel In Motion events...all the way back to 2012 when it was held at ShadySide Dragway in NC. Steel in Motion is still very much around and is still a great event, 'looking forward to the 2023 event which will be at Union County Dragstrip in Union, SC on May 13 & 14. Here, in no particular order is a photo dump from Steel In Motion 2012.

HOTRODPRIMER was there, the first photo has his Deuce pickup in it, can you spot it?

think that we all need a boost like this, when much of the country is still on hold due to bad weather.

Love this show. I go every year. It's about an hour and a half from my place. That deuce 5w in red primer is cool; wonder what became of it? Haven't seen it before.

Yes. HRP is showing us how to look good, and be present
Thank You Tom, these weeks of the year are trying on a body.
    Spring is coming

  14. I remember how epic the first Steel in Motion was as were the others I have attended, since they changed the date to Mothers Day weekend we will be unable to attend this year, I will look forward to your excellent coverage of the 2023 Steel in Motion event my friend.
