    Black on my '62 Impala, fawn on my '64 Belair and white on my '65 Malibu. Best for the look I was trying to achieve...sleeper, cheap-o style with lots of speed available...

    When I was still running pedal-power back in the early '60s, this was the look every cool dude was sporting in the one-stop sign town I grew up in. Musta seen hunderds of 'em! Still holds up today IMO.

    Not black steel wheels but is dark brown that matches my Model A's fenders, top and accent close enough? This is from the day I first drove the car about a year ago, and trim rings have been added since then.

    I can't tellya how many people have asked "When ya gonna put some fancy wheels on that thing"? Answer is always the same, it already has fancy wheels.... 40 Ford with wide ***ed pickups on the rear !! A at Bonneville.jpg
