Does anyone have part numbers for all the bearings/parts needed to a halibrand 101 case.

I know hotrod works has the pinion shaft and lower shaft that fit. Are the 101 and 201 all the same bearing sizes ?

Yes. Bruce knows, and can likely supply you with them.

    Gimpy,
Thanx for the vote of confidence :) but the Halibrand 101 is not my specialty. I answered JT1930 in a private conversation, but then I got to thinking that maybe I should share with everyone and that might cause someone with better information to respond.
    Here is what I said,
"I'm not going to be of much help on this. I have very little knowledge and even less experience with the 101.
My guess is that the pinion shaft bearings are the same as the 201. The rear cover bearings did come in two O.D.s
The front and rear lower shaft might also be the same as the V8.

    So, here are my guestimates:
Lower Shaft Front - SKF 306 (sealed)
Lower Shaft Rear - SKF 206 (shielded)
Pinion shank - SKF 307 (open or shielded)
Rear Cover - SKF 304???? (open)

I may have some of these, but I don't usually stock them as most of my stuff is either Champ sized or Winters V8, which use different bearings.
I don't have any of the other bits and pieces for the 101 QCs. I can supply HRW parts but they will be the same price through me as if you buy directly from them."

Buy all your quick change parts from the boys at Hot Rod Works, you'll be glad you did.

My ex partner in the old shop had a T roadster built in late '40s. Halibrand quickie, lay shaft was badly galled.
I called Teddy Halibrand, he sent a shaft up to us, completely wrong. Length, spline, diameter.
Got back on phone, he said "There were a sparce few like you describe, very early. I don't even have drawings..."

Possible? (Was this '101' the ONLY other possibility?) Years later, Mark Codd told me of HRW.
