Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

I miss that whole time when he, D'Agostino and Dore were knocking out new cars every year. It's what got me into customs. Always looked forward to the GNRS coverage in the mags where they usually débuted them.

 

I do too. We had to wait for the Custom Rodder magazine coverage to see what they were showing at the GNRS. Good times.

 

Was this the Caddy Larry bought when he sold the 58 Thunderbird with the panel paint? I know he wanted a caddy but couldn't afford one so he bought the thunderbird. He was still in High School at the time. When he sold it a year later he bought his caddy

Just the different angle and solid color IMHO.

 

Pretty sure that he got this new '59 Coupe DeVille when he sold the T-Bird. Immediately had it lowered and installed Bellflowers. Then painted it himself.

Then got the '57 Brougham after the '59.

 

Yup, I believe he swapped a dealership the '59 for the Brougham straight across.

 

I always looked forward to the Debut of The Doug Thompson built cars and the Bill Reasoner cars as well.
