HAHAHAHA......check out these reviews from Amazon:

"He shows you how to make a car the old fashion way, build all the stuff yourself. He used Bondo for way too many things but he did get the job done."

"This book is a good study on how to build a T-bucket by the old "We used what we had" school of thought. While this may be able to produce a"car" for a really low dollar figure,it certainly does'ent build a car that handles well and above all is safe. I mean how much is your life worth! I have to take issue with the use of used tie-rod ends "welded" to watter pipe as steering components? come on! This kind of unsafe foolishness is what gave T-buckets a bad name in the 60's."

It impossible to find, been out of print forever.
About 4 or 5 years ago I looked up Chesters number & found him in FLA. Called him & he talked to me, said he wrote the book got out of the car "biz" & is now designing golf courses in Fla.
He is a pretty nice guy, but even he said you can't find the book.
f theres something specific you want to know E-mail me & if i could i'll help ya.

Amazon prices range from 184.00 in us to
393.00 ( USD) from Amazon in Canada.... Amazing for a book only written in 1990.

Try calling local used book stores with the ISBN # or larger libraries???
    Contact the publisher??

Good Luck in your search !

I really don't have any way to copy it.Iyts a couple of hundred pages & i'm not going to stand in "A-Copy" for 3 hours, sorry!!
I think you'd be just as good to order some California roadster plans or total performance ones.
He does a hack job of alot of things, but they work!!lol

Just a suggestion; you might want to have your local library search the exchange service. Most libraries are on an exchange service where they will loan books from other libraries.

I used my double secret librarian resources to track down a cheap copy for you and discovered...that $180 is the cheapest to be found!! Most expensive was $380.00!! Really!! I don't think the car shown in the book would bring that much...I saw a copy once, and it was like "How to cut WAY too many corners." I am flabbergasted that the book is worth more than $10 to someone.

    So...take this info:

25 libraries own it--that's actually pretty scarce--and your local or county library can get this book lent to you pretty easily so you can xerox it. That's the best way for sure when a book becomes ridiculously overpriced. Bruce

Oh, yes, what you want to ask for at the library is "Interlibrary loan." Tell them you have the OCLC number, etc. in the post above, and they'll have some system for getting it sent in.
