Trolley buses seem like such a good idea. They were very scarce in Los Angeles but we were on a trip to a midwest city that had a big fleet of them silently moving about with no diesel stench. I am not a fan of EV's and really like a lot of diesel bus models for long trips, but for short trips in big cities, the trolley buses seem ideal.
One never knows what will pop up on the HAMB! The photo is of John Bernas’s ‘58 Impala, parked next to their house on Rutherford just off Archer Ave. in Chicago. John was probably around 30 and also had a ‘30 or ‘31 A coupe, I was a nine year old kid that lived a few doors down and admired both his cars. The prairie next to his car is where a Mc D’s was built in 1968, lots of hanging out and street races originated there.
I found a way to post photos from photobucket without the watermark. So photos that were once unpostable are now watermark free. I found a lot of good photos that I can share with everyone. Who knows what else I’ll find?
