Looking for ideas. What/how did you go about running your subframe over the rear Z? I have a 29 Coupe if that matters. (Binger - used your pic.)
Vern Tardel wrote an illustrated article on this. I don't remember where to find it but a search should get it.
I'm talking about a larger Z than Tardel's style. Like 8 inches. Yes, I have seen some pictures of ways through the years on here. Just thought some would post what they did. I'm a Visual person. The picture above is a way of bridging the gap so to speak that I have never seen. Again, just looking for ideas. Google is great but give me a search term that finds this particular subject. I thought I'd cut to the chase.
One of the kids projects had a large Z. He made a 1x1 tube sub rails a later covered with 18 ga panels.

This was my first thought on a plan of attack. Narrowing the rear is pretty slick as well! I have a Reilly frame.
