    Well... heres an update...

I started with the gas tank. The original has a hole in the bottom the size of a base ball. SO- I scored this nice Model T tank that we made mounts for right inside the deck lid.

I welded 90 degree ******s on the top and bottom and ran a see through gas line so I could see the level of gas in the tank. NO PINE PAINT STICK FOR ME...

I used a pipe and a pipe plug that I welded two bottle openers on so that it was easy to open and anyone drinking non twist offs might have an easier time opening one if they're standing around my coupe...

I ran hard line to the front right along the frame where the old stock line was, and a short rubber line to the carbs.

    PART 2

I got the right rubber hoses with bends to fit the bottom of the flatty to the rad... the tricky part of this was C-Notching the Crossmember so the hoses would fit. Its pretty tight but this worked out slick.

SO- hoses hooked up, radiator filled... gas hooked up, tank filled...

    HERE YOU GO-

NEXT- I need to make new rad mounts... and finish the pedals and clutch... It shifts nice-

    AFTER THAT? Brakes...

Muttly you thought about it longer than I did... thats nice on the side like that...

I'm headed to the HUNNERT in 20 some days??? I need to HUMP on this thing.

I like your WRINKLE PAINT Mutt- that looks like that plasticote stuff from wallmart. I dig that color.

No paint included with this car.

I'll take some video next time in the daylight... it got a little late working on that crossmember... but man those hoses fit nice now and the radiator is in the PERFECT spot.

I GOT THIS THING ***LED TOO! That was a big deal for me... I'm happy now.

SO my leaky *** water pump- I dont think it'll get better on its own will it??? I'm thinking about rebuilding both of them when I pull the motor the last time- Its been sitting dry for the last 2 months... and its never leaked before. I'm guessing from sitting dry its done for.

glad you guys dig the vid, u-tube rules!

That rules!! I felt that the flatty running for the first time was the best on mooment on my coupe. I love the gas guage, mine is a little less tech, when it runs out , I have a two gallon reserve ( a gas can) . Looks like you are prepared to heve a little fun when you get that coupe on the road.

    awesome awesome awesome.

    SWEET!

Push that thing outside, I want to see it in the LIGHT!!!

Maybe Bruce has some input if that pump seal will work right again.

Now I guess I will have to change my pine stick to a rattan cane....

thanks guys- I had this thing running but none of this plumbing was finalized, its getting these little details sorted out that take time... now theres now KINKs in any of the hoses.

Damn that leaky pump... Maybe I bumped the pully when moving the motor around? I'm pump paranoid...

    haha Jay-

I want a floating ball that wont disolve in gas that could go in the tube- that would rule... kinda like those foam balls that are in anti-freeze testers. They would be really cool if I could get them 'glow in the dark green'- then it would work at night!

I'm not pushing this thing anywhere, when it moves it'll be under its own power... ha. I'm gonna do a burn out rip down the road with no brakes JAY SWEET STYLE [tm] hahaha... well its a private drive and I can always bail for the soy bean field... SERIOUSLY. Its on.

FYI- that tall thing on the top of my gas cap is a Lincoln air fitting welded on, I drilled hole in the top of the cap and thats the vent, I'm gonna trim it down a bit.

    just a quickie...

I made my own aluminum guage panel... I'm going to run two SW temp guages and STAMP [L Head] and [R Head] under each temp guage.

    thats a 37 ford speedo-

I ground it out with 60 grit to give it some zip...

I also found some original 34 Ford headlights that I'm going to run.

    The coupe is looking ***z....

The coolest part of that video is the blackpool lights soundtrack playing in the background.

You still need to make those ashtray heart shirts.

    You need to get *******.
