Are there other procrastinating would be pinstripers out there besides me? I purchased a Beugler striper from my old friend Harry a long time ago. Used it one time but can't remember where I put it. Yesterday, I thought it was time I finally got around to trying to pinstripe my car. Remembered that I had purchased a brush years ago, looked for it and found I had 6 of them.

Worked 18 years at a Harley dealership in s.Texas. We hired a student from Texas A & M part time to work in parts—-seemed like a nice young man. Told me he did some striping at car shows. I asked him to come over to my house after work and show the wife how he “ pulled some lines”. I went to WalMart and bought a deep blue gl*** and said “let’s see what u got”. He knocked out this fine piece of art in about 20 minutes. Signed it BIG JOHNSON. Graduated from College several weeks later—-never saw or heard from him again!! This is one of the ones Im most proud of. My 8yr old daughter started playing guitar two years ago and she really wanted me to stripe her guitar. I made a deal with her that if she stuck with it for a year I would go to town on it. She stuck with it and has gotten pretty good.

I dabble in striping. Anything that sits in my shop long enough gets lines…. Including my buddies cars.
