It has become apparant that I'm not going to be able to build this car. It's a 1955 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 sedan. I bought this from an elderly couple whose son had disassembled it in their garage, left it there during college, became a doctor, and moved to New York. After 18 years they decided to get rid of it. They couldn't find the title and I never got around to getting one so I'll provide a bill of sale. The car is disassembled, but it is complete, all the parts are there. All the glass is there and in good shape, except the windshield which is in 2 pieces. All the trim, interior parts, bumpers, and grille are there and pretty nice. Some of the die cast parts have peeling chrome. The engine is a 324 with a four barrel. The heads have been gone through at some point, they told me that it was a running car when he took it apart, but I have no way of verifying that. Rust in the rockers, windshield area, hood, lower doors, and trunk. The seats are nice and the frame is in good shape. $2500 OBO. The car is located in Orange CA. I can help load it on a trailer.
